Pros & Cons
No Bag, No Biggie: Infantino Baby Carrier Storage
The Infantino Carry On Multi Pocket Carrier is adjustable, depending on the size of your child, making it convenient to use as your little one grows. The seat will fold in and narrow for smaller babies and as your child gets bigger, you can widen the seat.
This baby carrier also stands out because it has six functioning pockets that eliminates the need to carry a baby bag or purse while using it. Not only is the Infantino Carry On functional and easy to use, but it is also comfortable to wear like those extra-soft maternity leggings you couldn’t take off during your second trimester. It also has padding on the shoulder and waist straps that help cushion the weight of your baby.
Giving Polly Pocket a Run for Her Money
When I was looking for a baby carrier, I wanted something I could use on any outing. This carrier has superseded all my expectations for what I thought I wanted in a baby carrier—I often use it to go to the mall, the grocery store, school, on walks, and more. I love my Infantino.
The pockets stretch away from my son so none of the items I pack into his carrier press into him. The easy-access pacifier pocket is what made me realize I had to have this baby carrier. Any baby item that could eliminate the need for a diaper bag and purse had to be on my list, without question.
The straps on the Infantino Carry On are also easily adjustable and can fit different shapes and sizes. It was important to me that both myself and my partner would be able to use the carrier without it being a hassle. Who wants to spend time untangling straps? Not me.
What made me love this product even more is that Infantino Carry On stands behind the quality of its products and strives to make their customers happy. When the seam on my Infantino Carry On unfortunately came undone and the strap ended up breaking, I reached out to the company and they replaced it immediately. I had a new Infantino Carry On Multi-Pocket Carrier within seven days, and I haven’t had any problems with the replacement.
And one final benefit: Because I didn’t want to put anything too pricy on my registry, I appreciated that the Infantino Carry On is moderately priced and available at all major retailers, which made me feel comfortable asking for my friends and family to buy it.
I put this on my baby registry, and this was a factor in choosing the Infantino Carry On because I didn’t want to put anything too pricy on my registry. The Infantino Carry On is moderately priced and is available at all major retailers, which made me feel comfortable putting it on my registry.
Get Carried Away with The Infantino
The carrier comes with an instruction manual that highlights the four different ways the baby carrier can be worn. You can sport it facing towards you with a narrow seat, outwards, inwards with a widened seat, and as a backpack. The box also comes with a code you can scan to access a video tutorial so you don’t even need to read the instructions. When you have a little one, all timesaving measures are welcome.
As I mentioned above, the Carry On Multi-Pocket has a total of six pockets. Two of the six pockets are on the waist and are big enough for a phone, keys, credit cards, or a small change purse. The shoulder strap has a breathable and stretchy pocket that is made to hold your little one’s pacifier. The pockets in the center can hold clothing, wipes, and diapers. Having these pockets built-in eliminates the need to carry around a separate baby bag.
Initially, I was excited to be able to carry an extra outfit and all my changing essentials. However, the description of what the Carry On Multi-Pocket can hold doesn’t do this carrier justice. My son’s 5 oz. bottles fit in the center pocket of the carrier and I can fit a change of clothes, diapers, and wipes in too. The pockets in the hip hold my keys, phone, credit cards, and even my makeup products. I have gone into stores and didn’t need anything but the carrier.
I also found the padding in all of the straps extremely comfortable. I thought after a while they would irritate me, but they didn’t. I spent two hours shopping while carrying my son without discomfort.
Every Rose Carrier Has Its Thorn
The Infantino Carry On Multi-Pocket is so great, it’s hard to talk about the downsides, but there are a few. While the ample pockets are wonderful, they can make it feel bulky depending on what you put in them. Some people are willing to give up the extra storage because they prefer a sleeker style, but personally, I’ll take functionality over sleekness.
Another downside is the Infantino only comes in gray and teal. There should definitely be more color options available for customers who want to match the carrier to their baby’s clothing.
The only other feature I found lacking was a way to clip the slack from the waist straps back onto the carrier. It can be a pain to feel the slack from the straps rubbing against your body.
The Big Takeaway – Or Carry Away
I think every mom should get this carrier! Whether you are a mama that lives in Target, the mall, or hiking trails, the Carry On Multi-Pocket is for you. This carrier is versatile and affordable enough that it can be used for every outing. If you want an option that you, dad, grandma, and the sitter can use, then get this carrier ASAP.
I am going to use this carrier until my son isn’t able to fit in it. Once he’s done using it, I will pack it away until we have another baby. I hope to see more colors in the future, but if not, I will pull out old reliable.
I recommend the Infantino Carry On Multi-Pocket to all of my expecting friends and family members. You don’t even have to be expecting, you can probably get away with using this baby carrier as a backpack and get tons of compliments.
